The OMSI PFT-3000-4AV-E is a heavy-duty split-shaft transfer case designed for demanding vocational applications—especially sewer cleaning, combination trucks, blowers, compressors, and other auxiliary drives installed above or around the chassis. The “4AV-E” denotes an evolved version of the 4AV design, with helical gears for quieter operation and enhanced power handling. It supports operation both when stationary and in motion, offering flexible auxiliary drive options for modern truck bodies and equipment.

  • Split-shaft design with multiple output flanges: Can drive cardan shafts (driveshafts) and/or directly mount hydraulic pumps or auxiliary equipment. Flanges are mountable on differential side or cab side depending on vehicle layout.
  • Helical gearing (in the “E” version) to reduce noise and improve smoothness under load.
  • Automatic engagement of main outputs (and lubrication pump if fitted), triggered by disengaging the differential—and vice versa—allowing for seamless transitions between road drive and PTO mode.
  • Optional forced lubrication and heat management components—such as oil coolers or ventilation/fan on output flange—available for high power or severe environmental conditions.
