PAI 36450A Governor – Mechanical governor valve
The PAI 36450A (also listed as EM36450A) is a D-2 style air governor used in heavy-duty trucks’ air braking systems. It is adjustable and typically calibrated to operate in the 100–120 psi range (i.e. cut-in and cut-out pressures in that band). Used to regulate the compressor’s control of air pressure in the vehicle’s air system, ensuring that the reservoir pressure remains within safe operating limits.
