The Dana Spicer DS404-264 is a high-performance, heavy-duty tandem drive axle differential designed for use in Class 8 trucks and severe-duty vocational vehicles. Known for its strength, dependability, and ease of maintenance, the DS404 features a hypoid gear design that ensures efficient power transmission with reduced noise and vibration.

Engineered to support a gross axle weight rating (GAWR) of 40,000 lbs, the DS404 is built with a rugged cast ductile iron housing and heat-treated components for extended service life. It is highly configurable, offering a wide range of gear ratios and compatibility with various suspension systems and brake configurations. This makes it a preferred choice for fleets requiring cost-effective, long-lasting driveline solutions.
