Welcome to General Truck Parts & Equipment (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (generaltruckparts.com) (the “Site”) and the purchase of new and remanufactured truck parts and related products (collectively, the “Products”) offered through the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase Products through the Site.

2. Products

We sell both new and remanufactured truck parts, including individual components and complete units. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for informational purposes only and are subject to change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content is error-free.

2.1 Remanufactured Units

Remanufactured products have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and remanufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. These products may show signs of wear but are fully functional. All remanufactured items are clearly labeled on the product page.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you represent that all information provided is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.

Payments can be made at the time of purchase using accepted payment methods listed at checkout, or by request for an invoice to arrange for post-order payments. All prices are listed in USD and do not include taxes, shipping, or handling fees unless otherwise noted.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We offer shipping within the United States. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss for all Products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

5. Returns and Exchanges

General Truck Parts & Equipment reserves the right to have any failed component returned to our facility for inspection prior to repair or replacement. Any freight incurred will be prepaid by General Truck Parts and may be billed back to your account if the failure is determined to be a non-warrantable failure.

Core returns must be made within the timeframe and conditions specified at purchase.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. Warranties and Disclaimers

6.1 New Parts

Warranties on new parts vary by manufacturer. Warranty details are provided on the individual product pages or upon request.

6.2 Remanufactured Parts

All remanufactured units carry a limited warranty, typically 6-36 months, covering defects in workmanship or materials. Improper installation, misuse, or modification voids any warranty.

General Truck Parts & Equipment agrees to warranty all of our remanufactured products from defects in components or poor workmanship for the specified time period for that specific model type and application.

This warranty covers parts and labor to repair or replace, at General Truck Parts & Equipment’s option, the failed remanufactured component. Any component repaired or replaced will retain the remainder of the original warranty period.

General Truck Parts & Equipment’s nationwide warranty may only be administered by one of our approved warranty repair facilities. 
You must contact the warranty claims manager at General Truck Parts & Equipment at 1-800-621-3914 Ext. 2581 for authorization prior to any repairs being made in order to be eligible for warranty coverage.

This warranty shall not extend to failures or damage incurred as a result of improper installation, improper lubrication, abuse, improper application, or improperly installed accessories or other attached components that may be worn or failed, i.e. drive shafts, yokes, power takeoffs, etc.

All warranty claims shall be made to General Truck Parts & Equipment and shall be supported by satisfactory evidence in respect of the conditions stated herein.

We disclaim all warranties not expressly provided, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, General Truck Parts & Equipment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the use of the Site or the Products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including images, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of General Truck Parts & Equipment or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cook County, Illinois for any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without notice. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
