Return Policy

To ensure the efficient and proper handling of all returns, the following terms and conditions apply:

Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Required

As of 10/1/2026, all parts and steering gears are final sale, non-returnable. 20% restock fee on complete transmission and differential, only if RGA approved by management.

Anything purchased before 10/1/26 has a 30 day period for subject to be returned with a minimum 20% restock fee.

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

• Bearings
• Seals
• Shims
• Gaskets
• Steering Gears
• Any electrical or electronic components
• Any parts or components that have been installed or show evidence of installation

A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be requested and approved prior to returning any merchandise.

Merchandise returned without a valid, approved RGA number will be considered surrendered by the customer. No credit, refund, or replacement will be issued for merchandise returned without proper authorization.

Special Orders

Special-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Once a special order has been placed, it cannot canceled or returned for credit or refund.

Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be deducted from any credit or refund issued.

Freight Charges

Customers are responsible for all freight costs associated with returned merchandise.

If freight charges were prepaid by General Truck Parts on the original shipment, the customer will be responsible for reimbursing those prepaid freight charges.

Return Acceptance

Issuance of an RGA number authorizes the customer to return the merchandise for evaluation and does not, by itself, guarantee a credit or refund. Any applicable restocking fees, freight charges, and other amounts due will be deducted from the final credit. Credits will be issued for returned once product is received and inspected, no refunds will be issued

By returning merchandise to General Truck Parts, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Return Policy.  All returns will be inspected upon receipt for refund approval. Any damaged merchandise will not be accepted; this includes damage caused in shipping from the customer back to General Truck Parts.
